Professor of Political Economy and Development, University of Zurich


Katharina Michaelowa is Professor of Political Economy and Development at the University of Zurich and at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) at ETH and University of Zurich. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of development cooperation as well as on the effectiveness of developing countries' own policies, especially in the social sector. Katharina Michaelowa est professeur d’économie politique et de développement à l’Université de Zurich et au Centre d’études comparatives et internationales (CIS) à ETH et à l’Université de Zurich. Ses recherches portent essentiellement sur l’efficacité de la coopération au développement et l’efficacité des politiques des pays en développement, en particulier dans le secteur social. Ses travaux s'intéressent également au rôle des pays en développement dans le cadre de la politique climatique internationale. Katharina Michaelowa es profesora de Economía Política y Desarrollo en la Universidad de Zurich y en el Centro de Estudios Comparativos e Internacionales (CECS) en ETH y la Universidad de Zurich.
