Daniel Gurara

Economist, IMF

Daniel Gurara is an Economist at the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department of the IMF. His research interest falls broadly under applied macro and microeconomics. He has published in leading international journals including in the American Economic Review and Journal of International Money and Finance. Previously, he was a Principal Research Economist at the African Development Bank and, prior to that, an Assistant Professor of Economics at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

 

Daniel Gurara est économiste au Département de la stratégie, des politiques et de l'examen du FMI. Ses intérêts de recherche relèvent largement de la macroéconomie et de la microéconomie appliquées. Il a publié dans des revues internationales de premier plan, notamment dans l'American Economic Review et le Journal of International Money and Finance. Auparavant, il était économiste principal de recherche à la Banque africaine de développement et, avant cela, professeur adjoint d'économie à l'Université d'Addis-Abeba, en Éthiopie.
