Marianne S. Ulriksen works at the Danish Centre for Welfare Studies, University of Southern Denmark. She has a PhD in political science from Aarhus University. Geographically, her work centers on eastern and southern Africa, including the countries of Botswana, South Africa, and Tanzania, where she has lived.
