Roland Kangni Kpodar

Deputy Division Chief, International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Roland Kangni Kpodar is currently Deputy Division Chief in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC, USA. He is also Senior Fellow at the FERDI, Clermont-Ferrand, France. Since joining the IMF in 2006, he has worked on a number of developing and emerging economies, advising governments on key macroeconomic policies and providing macroeconomic analysis, including on real sector, fiscal, balance of payments, and monetary issues. His research interests and publications encompass a wide range of issues pertaining to financial development, economic growth, poverty reduction, fuel subsidies, and trade integration. He is a national of Togo and graduated from the CERDI with a Ph.D. in economics.

 

Roland Kangni Kpodar est actuellement chef de division adjoint au département Stratégie, politique et examen du Fonds monétaire international (FMI), Washington DC, États-Unis. Il est également Senior Fellow à la FERDI, Clermont-Ferrand, France. Depuis qu'il a rejoint le FMI en 2006, il a travaillé sur un certain nombre d'économies en développement et émergentes, conseillant les gouvernements sur les politiques macroéconomiques clés et fournissant des analyses macroéconomiques, notamment sur le secteur réel, la fiscalité, la balance des paiements et les questions monétaires. Ses intérêts de recherche et ses publications englobent un large éventail de questions relatives au développement financier, à la croissance économique, à la réduction de la pauvreté, aux subventions aux carburants et à l'intégration commerciale. Il est de nationalité togolaise et diplômé du CERDI avec un doctorat en économie.
