Seth Schultz
Special Advisor to the Global Covenant of Mayors on Research & Innovation
Seth Schultz is currently serving as the Special Advisor to the Global Covenant of Mayors on Research & Innovation. He works on Innovate4Cities, a coalition of national governments, city networks, academia, the IPCC and the private sector focused on creating a global research and innovation agenda for cities and climate change. Seth is also a Special Advisor to the Coalition for Urban Transitions, the Co-Chair of the Scientific Steering Committee for Cities IPCC and lead author on the IPCC Special Report on 1.5 Degrees.
Seth Schultz est actuellement conseiller spécial à la Convention mondiale des maires pour la recherche et l’innovation (Global Covenant of Mayors on Research & Innovation). Il travaille sur l’initiative Innovate4Cities, une coalition constituée de gouvernements nationaux, de réseaux de villes, d’universitaires, du GIEC et du secteur privé, et qui œuvre pour la création d’un programme mondial de recherche et d’innovation pour les villes et la lutte contre le changement climatique. Seth est également conseiller spécial à la Coalition pour les transitions urbaines (Coalition for Urban Transitions), co-président du Comité scientifique de pilotage du GIEC pour les villes et auteur principal du rapport spécial du GIEC sur le réchauffement planétaire de 1,5° C.
Seth Schultz, se desempeña actualmente como Asesor Especial del Pacto Mundial de Alcaldes sobre Investigación e Innovación. Trabaja en Innovate4Cities, una coalición de gobiernos nacionales, redes de ciudades, instituciones académicas, el IPCC y el sector privado centrado en crear una agenda global de investigación e innovación para las ciudades y el cambio climático. Seth también es Asesor Especial de la Coalición para las Transiciones Urbanas, copresidente del Comité Científico Directivo para las Ciudades del IPCC y autor principal del Informe Especial del IPCC sobre 1.5 grados.
