Writing for Decision Makers: Communicating Research Effectively

This training module is designed to introduce young researchers to the principles and practices of translating applied research into clear, compelling, and policy-relevant communication. The session began by exploring the objectives that underpin effective research engagement, highlighting the importance of aligning messages with the priorities of decision-makers and other stakeholders. Participants analysed how to identify and segment audiences, and how to select the most appropriate communication formats to support meaningful dialogue in policy arenas.
