Founding member & executive director of the Health AI for All Network (HAINet)

Kiran Raj Pandey is an internal medicine physician and a health services researcher. His clinical practice is in internal and preventive medicine. Dr Pandey’s research work focuses on health systems and services. He studies health services, their design and organization within the healthcare delivery system.

He is a consulting physician at Medharma Clinics, and a clinical research scientist at Nepal Applied Mathematics and Informatics Institute for Research. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Arete Healthsciences, a health services translational research company that designs and deploys clinical decision support systems, and a founding member and currently the executive director of the Health AI for All Network (HAINet).

Kiran obtained his undergraduate medical degree from Kathmandu University in Nepal, followed by post-graduate residency training in Internal Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. He then trained at the University of Chicago in Advanced Training in Hospital Medicine and in Health Services Research. He also has a master’s degree in public health sciences from UChicago.
