Nicola Branson

Nicola Branson is a Chief Research Officer at SALDRU. She is currently involved in quantitative research in education inequality and the consequence of teenage childbearing in South Africa using household survey data. Nicola holds a PhD (2011), Masters (2008) and Bachelors of Business Science (2005) in Economics from UCT. She has experience data cleaning longitudinal surveys and in the micro-econometric analysis of social surveys. She has published work on human capital inequality in South African and trends in employment status using national household survey data.
