Santosh Kaini, with 20 years of experience in water resources and irrigation, is a joint secretary at the Government of Nepal. Currently, he serves as Deputy Director General at the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal. He holds a PhD in climate change impacts on water resources from Australia and an MSc in Hydraulic Engineering from the Netherlands. Dr Kaini has authored numerous journal papers.
