Ms Shweta Sharma works as an Assistant Professor at Chitkara School of Languages, Chitkara University in Rajpura, Punjab. Ms Sharma holds a Master’s Degree in Water Resources Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi, India. She has done research under the guidance of Dr. Anil Kumar Roy, Associate Professor, CEPT University on ‘Perceptions and Adaptations of the Coastal Community to the Challenges of Climate Change: A Case of Jamnagar City Region, Gujarat, India’ which was a part of a project under Ministry of Earth Sciences in CEPT University. She has also done a research under Dr J.R Sharma, Project Director: India-WRIS & Group Director: WRG on “Watershed Delineation and Morphometric Analysis of Beas Catchment (Sub-Basin Of Indus) Of India Using Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS) Techniques” from Regional Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO, Jodhpur. Apart from this, she has worked with many organizations as Human Resources Specialist and a Language Trainer. Currently, she is working as a language skill development trainer with Chitkara University, Punjab. Her research interests are socioeconomic analysis, impact assessment, understanding the communication gap between different communities and evaluation focusing on environment and development. She is currently working on enhancing overall personality and communication skills of students and making them industry ready.
