Solomon Musiitwa
Team Leader, The Uganda National Medical Alliance for Prisoners’ Support (TUNMAPS)
Dr. Solomon Musiitwa holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a diploma in medical laboratory Technology. He has over eight years of experience in clinical care, research, health systems strengthening, and programme management, working with government institutions, development partners, and private-sector stakeholders. His research interests include HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, mental health, and health systems strengthening. He currently serves as Team Leader for the Uganda National Medical Alliance for Prisoners’ Support (TUNMAPS), where he leads initiatives focused on improving health, rehabilitation, economic empowerment, research, and reintegration pathways for justice-affected populations.
