Magdalena Mirwald is an Associate Project Manager at UNU EHS and MCII, where she is the focal point of the Multi-Actor Partnership on Climate and Disaster Risk Financing. As part of the Policy, Governance and Strategies team, Magdalena engages with political stakeholders and partners to support MCII’s agenda of strengthening the disaster risk management – resilience nexus and follows the UNFCCC negotiations, particularly on Loss and Damage. She has a background in risk geography and political science and research interests in climate (risk) finance, human mobility and policy analysis.
