Assistant Professor, Northeastern University

Bilge Erten is an Assistant Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Northeastern University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, development and international economics, with a particular focus on empirical research. She is an Associate Editor of Feminist Economics, and a member of the Gender and Development Initiative at Northeastern. She is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). Prior to joining Northeastern economics faculty, Professor Erten was a postdoctoral research scholar of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University. She earned her PhD in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

 

Bilge Erten est professeure adjointe d'économie et d'affaires internationales à la Northeastern University. Ses intérêts de recherche se situent à l'intersection du genre, du développement et de l'économie internationale, avec un accent particulier sur la recherche empirique. Elle est rédactrice adjointe de Feminist Economics et membre de la Gender and Development Initiative à Northeastern. Elle est également chercheuse à l'Institut pour l'étude du travail (IZA).
