Dawit Tessema

Economist, IMF

Dawit Tessema is an Economist at the IMF’s Strategy, Policy & Review Department. His work focuses on the macroeconomic implications of public investment scaling up. Prior to joining the IMF, he was an Economist at IFPRI and UNECA, and subsequently served as an Economist at the Development Research Department of the African Development Bank working on global economic shock spillovers. He studied at Addis Ababa University and George Washington University.

 

Dawit Tessema est économiste au Département de la stratégie, des politiques et de l'examen du FMI. Ses travaux portent sur les implications macroéconomiques de l'augmentation des investissements publics. Avant de rejoindre le FMI, il a été économiste à l'IFPRI et à la CEA, puis a été économiste au Département de la recherche sur le développement de la Banque Africaine de Développement, travaillant sur les retombées des chocs économiques mondiaux. Il a étudié à l'Université d'Addis-Abeba et à l'Université George Washington.
